Pavlov had dogs.

Galen Tue 26-Mar-13 20:41:52

Wicki says 13

Galen Tue 26-Mar-13 20:40:45

Well I've never heard of Schrodingers dog? I suppose he had a reason why it had to be car rather than a dog or elephanthmm

JessM Tue 26-Mar-13 20:31:24

thought it was only 3 to make a coven. Shakespeare and Pratchett are my sources.
Gracesmum grin and Galen is that dog any relation to Shrodinger's cat who, I seem to recall, may or may not have been in a hypothetical box?
(Of course it it had been a real cat in a real box the pesky think would have been making a terrible caterwauling noise, and there would have been no doubt in anyones hypothetical mind that there was a cat in the box)

Galen Tue 26-Mar-13 20:00:01

Gracesm don't you need 13 to make coven? I doubt if they've that many social workers in Sutton Coldfield!

Galen Tue 26-Mar-13 19:56:55

Jessm this clearly a case of the non dog who didn't bark in the night
QED!

gracesmum Tue 26-Mar-13 19:31:35

Only if he had an accident on the carpet grin
A friend's husband was once staying with his aunt and woke up in the night , having had a pint or two the night before, to spend a penny in the en suite. Halfway through he remembered her guest bedroom didn't have an en suite, but did have a fitted wardrobe shock

JessM Tue 26-Mar-13 19:28:13

I don't have a pet. It didn't wake me up in the night, either to bark or to have an accident on the carpet. I did hear DH getting up at 5 though to go to work. Does that count?

Digby went out, then came in and used the litter tray, completely wrecking it in the process. He does like to make sure things are properly buried. confused

Just wish he would do what he needs to do while he is outside!

gracesmum Tue 26-Mar-13 18:34:08

Or even a coven of social workers!

harrigran Tue 26-Mar-13 18:32:48

It could be people plotting to harangue Frank about the house.

gracesmum Tue 26-Mar-13 18:16:36

Of course not BAnanas!! grin We could have a whole thread devoted to our dogs' lavatorial habits, not to mention DGC's nappies - and even our own digestive idiosyncrasies!

JessM Tue 26-Mar-13 17:57:07

The idea has a certain appeal I think. And we have had equally trivial threads on many subjects I suppose.

BAnanas Tue 26-Mar-13 17:15:31

I'm another who thought this was about your dog doing it's toilet! Quite wrong because obviously you wouldn't start a thread about something quite as trivial as that Frank!

Marelli Tue 26-Mar-13 16:43:59

I thought that was what it was about as well, Jess - so (for some strange reason), I looked at Frank's post. Surely there must be something missing in my life if I want to read about what I thought was a dog having done a poo in Frank's house....confusedshock!

Ella46 Tue 26-Mar-13 16:38:07

My ribs are getting quite sore!

JessM Tue 26-Mar-13 16:32:35

Is this thread not about the dog doing a dump indoors. Damn.

whenim64 Tue 26-Mar-13 15:33:09

I once saw someone talking on the street in the early hours..........

glammanana Tue 26-Mar-13 15:05:39

Do you not have good quality double glazing ?

janeainsworth Tue 26-Mar-13 14:47:25

j08 Tue 26-Mar-13 14:31:55

OR - plain clothes policeman planning an early morning drugs bust! (not at your house Frank)

j08 Tue 26-Mar-13 14:30:36

Perhaps they had turned out of a nightclub. Or were waiting for a coach to pick them up for a trip.

Tegan Tue 26-Mar-13 14:25:35

If Hattie came and woke me up to tell me there was someone in the street talking she would be [literally] in the doghouse. I think people with bad intentions make a habit of being as quiet as possible...

gracesmum Tue 26-Mar-13 09:03:50

Give me strength

HUNTERF Tue 26-Mar-13 06:49:58

Andie came in to my bedroom and was barking very loud this morning at 4am.
I was a bit concerned so I got up and followed him.
It turned out there was a group of people talking on the opposite side of the road.
They did not appear to be doing any harm but why talk there on a freezing cold morning?.
