Mischievous cat working my security light!

We had a Burmese cat that could open all the doors in the house [had to change the handles]. I'm sure if we'd had more technical gadgets in the house at that time he would have learned how to use them!

When I had security lights fitted outside my house in London, my cat of the time, spent happy evenings for about a week walking in large circles to set them off again as soon as they had gone out. Then she lost interest and found some other cattish pleasure. Cats really do have an evil sense of humour. I especially love the one where they stand stock still and stare intently out of a window and then, as soon as you walk across the room to look out, they wander off nonchalantly, leaving just a hint of the feline version of "na, na, na nana".

Neighbour's cat wanders across our yard every evening, just to set off our security light. She then sits down as if in her own personal spotlight, I'm sure one evening she'll burst into song! I'm an early riser, and as soon as I put the light on in the kitchen, the security light comes on and there is the cat again, is she waiting for signs of life in our house?

Same here too. The neighbours tabby sets off the security light at the front of the house ..... I know it is him because I once just saw the tail vanishing around a corner, and he does it every evening, often two or three times.
We uses to have a cat that sat on the windowsill and whacked her tail hard against the window several times when she wanted to come in.Another cat learned how to operate the doorknocker with his nose [it was low down on door.]Another of our cats could open any door in the house by leaping up and knocking down the doorhandle.

She's doing it again now! I crept to the back door whilst the dog is fast asleep and she is just sat there looking at me, even when the lights go off. If I walk out of the kitchen, she moves and makes them come on again! I wonder how long she'll amuse herself with this game for?

She runs off when she sees my dog! Perhaps she's a psycho cat who has plans to dispose of my dog! Whadayathink, newist?

Cats are not like that, They are sweet natured creatures. I have 2 Ragdoll indoor cats. But they do say pets get to look like, be like their keepers

I'll go and check out the neighbour in that case. Perhaps he sent the cat round to case my house!

when Don't you have a switch inside to turn the light off? Then you could stand and stare at one very confused cat!
You could even go 'nerner na nerner!'

There is a river near my local Asda. A family of ducks have(has?) learnt that the doors open when they approach, and that crumbs can be found within!

A new cat has appeared in the neighbourhood and has discovered the security light outside my garage. As the garage is away from the house I haven't noticed it, but my next door neighbour told me he is woken several times in the night with the light coming on and each time he gets up to look it is the cat sat in the middle of the circle of light! As I don't like to think of my neighbour having disturbed sleep I now switch the light off at night (defeating the object of having it!)
