Evening all, I'm sure you all know about the theory of owners looking like their pets, but recent events for both myself and Maurice have shown a few odd things!

Both of us have had biopsies, both had the all clear with regard to cancer.grin
Both of us currently have swellings under our lower left jaw.

Not exactly symbiosis, but due to the meds I'm not exactly functioning on all cylinders brain wise at the moment, so can't think of the right word confused

PLUS we both have whiskers! How coincidental is that!

Although I must admit, Maurice's are far more becoming than mine......

Does anyone else share character traits (or physical ones) with their pets?

My pony was me in equine form. My dog has a floppy ear..one of my ears is floppier than the other. I was a premature baby and I always reckoned my ear hadn't quite developed when I was born. I'd like to take after her weight wise [whippet] but, alas, I don't. Characterwise I always took more after the cocker spaniels I used to have; running around in circles achieving absolutely nothing and eating anything that wasn't screwed to the floor.

I was diagnosed with diabetes in May; my cat Percy was diagnosed with diabetes in November of the same year. (Somebody said they didn't know diabetes was CATching.)

DD and I have always reckoned that GS1 is the reincarnation of our late Border Collie. I thought he might grow out of it, but he hasn't.

We had a grey miniatures schnauzer which looked an awful lot like DH especially as they both had (very) grey beards!

Same here merlotgran Poppy looks at me as if to say "are you talking to me" ? and mr.glamma will reply give standard reply "did you say something" can't win with either of them hmm
