My little doggie

One of mine is a Bengal cat, Saffron. The breed is very vocal and she has different sounds for various needs! She even seems to shout 'Mum' and 'no'.
Bugsie, the usually silent moggie, says it all with a tilt of the head and pleading look which I find difficult to resist.

My Burmese cat, sadly long departed, had a huge range of swear words and was very vocal. My cat at the moment is only noisy when wanting food but butts you when she wants brushing. The dog, a Cavichon, has us so well organised we know what to do at all times!

Tara my cat leads me to the door when she wantsd me to open it. She does have a catflap but why exert energy when the live in staff are available?

In bed, I get butted if she wants attention.

My dog turns up, chewy bone in mouth, wagging her tail. If I ignore her, the manky old bone gets dropped in my lap and she grrrr-umbles at me

If my oldest dog thinks his dinner is overdue he'll pick up his dish, drop in front of me and turn crazy circles.

Our late Rhodesian Ridgeback used to pick up her bowl and throw it, Frisbee style, across the kitchen. Painful on the shins if you didn't jump out the way.

Peggy the JR knows when it's 5pm and not a minute later. I like to tease her by tapping away on the laptop (usually to Gransnet.) She jumps on the sofa, sidles up alongside me and clunks her chin on the keyboard.

Works every time

Wiggy, my cockatiel, shrieks loudly when she wants attention. I'm used to it now but visitors find it very unsettling!

5pm is dinner time in our house too for the cat and your not allowed to forget. She will jump up next to you, head butt you and give the most pathetic meow. All this even though she has access to a bowl of dried food all day everyday and of course water.

When DH starts shifting forward on the sofa prior to going to bed our ginger cat sqeezes her self behind him quite obviously saying "thank goodness for that, are you going at last?"
