Id agree. I don't remember such clouds of fluff building up before. We've never had to groom him either. He's not an old cat who's lost the ability to clean himself properly either.

Our 13yr old cat has never moulted as much as she is doing at the moment. I have a carpet covered in cat hair 
and have had for about a fortnight.
There is no obvious skin condition or evidence of fleas.
Is it the mixed up weather, are you having the same problem with your animals?
