I often wonder who we'd talk to if we had no pets
My parents had a budgie in their late 70's and Mum often said he was someone to address a remark to! The problem is we get far too attached to them especially when we've had them for a long time. One of my cats was 23 when she passed away and her mother and son were both 18. And now we have the worry what happens to the current ones if something happens to us. If the younger one lives to 23 we'll be in our 80's!
