I am to have a puppy. All arranged by younger daughter , son in law and son in law who isn't ? Please be happy for Lottie and for me, we are lonely and the home needs joy .

And my physiotherapist agrees

Aw I like Bronnie, had a great aunt Bronnie, she died in the Aberfan disaster . But similar to my beloved Bonnie , quite like Cariad ?

Jalima1108 Sun 10-Dec-17 12:00:43

Oh yes, too much like Bonnie, I was thinking of 'white'.

Cariad is lovely

Anniebach Sun 10-Dec-17 12:13:51

Cariad means darling or beloved one ?

Happy hunting Annie. Winnie the Westie?

Anniebach Sun 10-Dec-17 14:13:32

Daughter2, named her Westie Winnie Alima, Winnie was the love of her life, she still grieves for her after fourteen years, she wouldn't be happy if I chose that and she is buying me the puppy , sweet name isn't it . We have had so many dogs between us, I think I will have to start from the beginning again.

Jalima1108 Sun 10-Dec-17 14:28:15

I wasn't calling you when I said 'Hey You', it was a suggestion if all else fails

grannyactivist Sun 10-Dec-17 14:36:07

Come on - what better Christmas name than Holly? And it fits so well with the previous names you've had Annie. Incidentally your dogs shared names with two of my granddaughters. smile
So pleased for you.

Jalima1108 Sun 10-Dec-17 14:38:53

Holly is a good idea!

Anniebach Sun 10-Dec-17 14:49:30

Don't mean to be unkind or ungrateful but really don't want reminders of this Christmas , hope you understand x

MissAdventure Sun 10-Dec-17 16:00:27

How about Faith? Or Hope? They seem quite fitting.

nonnasusie Sun 10-Dec-17 17:55:40

We got our German Shepherd just after Christmas (9 years ago) and called her Steffi after St Stephen and Steffi Graf!!

nanaK54 Sun 10-Dec-17 18:07:57

Oh Annie I am so pleased for you smile

If I had a little westie I would call her Trudi - just saying grin

Auntieflo Sun 10-Dec-17 18:20:56

Flora !

varian Sun 10-Dec-17 19:43:48

Lucy, Lily or Lindy would go with Lottie

Crafting Sun 10-Dec-17 20:01:38

How about Daffy after the Welsh daffodils? Better than Leekie after......well you get the drift. Whatever you choose annie I am sure she will be a much loved pup x

Cherrytree59 Sun 10-Dec-17 20:16:52

Lovely news Annie
I'm sure you and Lottie will bring sunshine into the life of a little furry bundle.sunshine

Gagagran Sun 10-Dec-17 20:41:35

Oh Annie you sound so much better with the excitement of a new little puppy on her way - soon we hope. What a lovely thing for your family to do. Keep us posted!

My late Welsh sister-in-law had a Jack Russell called Tegwen - which get shortened to Teggie. I think it's a Welsh name. Would that appeal?
