I am to have a puppy. All arranged by younger daughter , son in law and son in law who isn't ? Please be happy for Lottie and for me, we are lonely and the home needs joy .

And my physiotherapist agrees

Nooo, just tickling Lottie's tummy, she has a lump on a nipple, vet tomorrow, please let her be alright , frightened

Bathsheba Thu 14-Dec-17 22:43:21

Oh Annie you don't need another worry. It's probably nothing, just a lipoma, but of course you do need the reassurance of seeing the vet. Good luck and please do update us.

Jalima1108 Thu 14-Dec-17 23:45:42

I hope she will be all right, but check with the vet.
Do you think it's hormonal? A mothering instinct now that the puppy is there, could it be milk?

NfkDumpling Fri 15-Dec-17 08:00:02

Phoebe is a lovely name Annie. Hopefully Lottie just has one of those lumps, bumps and cysts which older dogs get and will be fine, but it's best to check. A good thing you found it early.

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 09:06:10

Not milk Jalima.

Sorry I posted this on a fun thread, I panicked and there was no one to tell.

DanniRae Fri 15-Dec-17 11:09:08

It doesn't matter where you posted it, we are here to help you Annie.
I really hope Lottie is ok - please let us know as soon as you find out xx

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 11:32:41

Thank you Danni, I fear becoming a meme person

NannyTee Fri 15-Dec-17 19:21:10

Try not to worry Chuck . It will just be a harmless fibroidoema . She's being motherly bless xx

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 19:47:32

Lottie been to vets, they have taken a sample, they said a tumour and I will know next week if malignant or benign. I am so fearful, trying to be positive. She and Phoebe went into the garden today, they ran around and around, lovely to see Lottie lively again .

Crafting Fri 15-Dec-17 20:39:24

annie I am sure lottie will be fine but you must have caught it quickly so keep positive. Little phoebe was obviously meant to come to you right now to help you through yet another worry. You are not meme annie you are someone we all care about who is going through a really hard time and we want to be here for you and with you. Keeping all fingers and toes crossed for lottie x

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 20:55:15

Crafting x I have done nothing but post of my sorrows for three months, not for attention though, I needed the friendship so very much. It has been a struggle this year .

WilmaKnickersfit Fri 15-Dec-17 21:06:18

Annie I know it's a waste of time saying don't worry, but you may like to know that this kind of tumour is very common in unspayed bitches and it's the most common type too. The odds of it being benign are about evens, but even if it's not, it is usually treatable and slow growing. Try to stay positive and enjoy your new addition as she tires out Lottie with her antics! ????

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 21:20:04

Thank you Wilma, the vet did unnerve me asking if I wanted Lottie x rayed to see if there was any cancer which was spreading , if it was cancer . I allowed fear in, thought no not October, then November now December . She also asked if it was cancer did I want to consider chemo, I felt swamped.

Must let it go and enjoy watching Lottie having fun again and Phoebe exploring the garden with her

WilmaKnickersfit Fri 15-Dec-17 21:30:38

I would have been just the same Annie. Is there someone who can be with you when you get the results? Good or bad news can be overwhelming and another pair of ears can be helpful. {{{HUGS}}}

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 22:00:18

Wilma, I was alone when I found Honey dead and nothing surely could be worse than being alone when told my beloved daughter was dead, i will accept the news of Lottie's results alone because they will, phone and I am alone, it's the way it goes. Thank you x. Sorry to say I will be on here to tell my friends , this will be comforting and if the news is good I want this to be where I share my joy x

NfkDumpling Fri 15-Dec-17 22:11:33

Fingers crossed Annie. How old is Lottie?

WilmaKnickersfit Fri 15-Dec-17 22:15:40

Yes, I can easily imagine being on your own at such times is very hard. Sorry, I forgot the vet would probably ring you with the results. You know much support you have on here and virtually 24 hours a day too. flowers

PS I've just read poor watermeadow's post.

Anniebach Fri 15-Dec-17 22:24:24

Nfk, Lottie is seven this month , so young, my Yorkies have all lived to a good age, one lived until she was eighteen .

Wilma, I just read it too, so sad

cornergran Fri 15-Dec-17 22:55:51

Just caught up with Phoebe’s arrival and your worry about Lottie. Phoebe sounds a cute little thing, lovely and interested, just right. From your description Lottie has bucked up and found some energy, seems a hopeful sign. It’s easy to say annie but you know worrying won’t change a thing. Hold on to positive thoughts if you can manage it. Don’t worry about posting, we’re all here for you and will want to hear the news when you do. In the meantime just enjoy them both. Phoebe does sound a very good puppy, waiting to hear she has turned into a terror. smile.

NfkDumpling Sat 16-Dec-17 08:50:02

Oh, I do hope Lottie is ok. Fingers crossed and I hope you don’t have too long to wait for the results. (((Hug)))

Anniebach Sun 17-Dec-17 13:23:09

cornergran, Phoebe has another name given by my son in law - Demonica! He did have to fence the fence in the rain yesterday !

Anniebach Sun 17-Dec-17 13:27:16

Sorry all but I am scared of the results of Lottie's tests, can't forget one of my beloved dogs , I found a lump on a Sunday night, she had tests on Monday and I had to part with her on the Saturday , I am trying to be positive but not always succeeding

NannyTee Sun 17-Dec-17 13:30:16

Anniebach. Sending you my love and best wishes that all will be just fine xx
