All my best wishes are winging their way to Baz. Will be thinking of him, and you, on Monday.

Fingers crossed here, too. Cats are usually amazingly resilient, and even although vets say they do not react well to anaesthetics mine have always come out of them all right and recovered fast, so I hope Baz will too, and that the tumour is benign.

Do keep us posted, as we will all be worrying.

You have made the right choice. I have a very old dog and would have done the same. Thinking of you Baz.

So sorry to hear about Baz. So young to have this hanging over him. Good luck Baz!

He's an 8 year old cat. No great age.

I'm not sure if Baz is a dog or cat but I'll be thinking about him on Monday.
I gather that he is quite old so I'm sure that the vet will take extra, special care of him. flowers

Baz has a tumour. It's suddenly appeared from his abdomen. Lucky to get vet appt at once but end result is op on Monday. She wanted him to be assessed by a cardiologist and /or other tests but we decided that the whole situation was so incredibly stressful for him that we'd rather the vet just got on with it. No alternative anyway. It's going to be a worrying weekend. He's so happy to be home that I'm glad he's to have the least intrusive treatment. We've accepted the gamble re his heart and an anaesthetic.
