Dirty dog!

I have a six year old Labrador who has always been clean indoors unless on rare occasions,he has had an upset stomach, but over the last few months he has started pooing in the kitchen at night. Not every night but just randomly. He's been checked at vets,he's fine. Nothing has changed, his food and routine are the same. He's walked twice a day,is out in the garden with my husband during the day and let out at about twelve before bed. It's not loose and can be picked up with a dog bag,he knows he shouldn't do it because he doesn't come to greet me and keeps his head down. I don't tell him off and praise him when he's clean
Any ideas?

Going off at a tangent here, but noticed that Manor Pharmacy sold Pro Kaolin [think I've got that right without googling it]. Might get some to take on holiday etc. Not saying that a dog with a poorly tummy shouldn't be seen by a vet asap but DD's dog had a bad tummy and was prescribed it, and sometimes you can't get to a vets easily if you're away from home.

He's not on any meds? My dogs epilepsy tablets were too strong that she was zoned out at times and didn't know she did a tiny poop. I cut her tablet in half and it sorted the problem.
I always walk her before she eats, she has one bigger meal in morning and a little bit at teatime and nothing else past 6pm.
Some of the comments haven't been nice at all. If you haven't any knowledge of owning an animal why comment at all.

Why resurrect a thread after more than two years? Odd...
