MissOops dang stays with us 3 days a week. New neighbour has 2 dogs, if she hears them in the garden she shoots out of the door barking her head off, I go out and call her in and she mutters and grumbles the whole length of the garden, very loudly and stomps off into the living room and throws herself on the carpet.
Every time. (You would think that she would learn the connection between the barking and being sent indoors)

But the grumbling always makes me laugh.

When she has to go home, she also grumbles and complains as she goes to the car.

I too have a dog and a tortoise Molly. The dog is good at finding her when she’s slept out rather than in her house but I was cross with him when he tiddled on her house especially as his aim went straight through the open door.

They say, ''why do you call us by these names? have you ever thought whether we like it or not. They tell us, how they have been emotionally attached with us they show their love by licking you. They tell us although I couldn't speak, But I love you.

Six p.m. yesterday, the time the cats both usually come in and want their dinner, Trubel told me very clearly that she could not find her brother and was worried, She and I went out to look for him. Then I brought her in and closed the cat-flap and crossed the road and wandered around the neighbour hood for an age, looking for (and calling) our Tigger.

Came back in and the little brat marched downstairs and asked where I had been! Then he rolled over on his back and said "Cuddle, please!" I told him no-one wanted to cuddle him just then, but did so all the same. The look his dear sister gave him could have killed a lesser cat!

I cannot bring myself to write what the crow was calling Trubel the other day, or what the blackbirds were saying about Tigger!

Do you ever imagine discussions between your pets?
I’ve just watched the dog and the tortoise having a “conversation”.
D-“Can you please stop eating my play area!”
T- “How about if you stop weeing on my food?”
D barks crossly and T strides purposefully away to the utility room door.
I hurry in to stop the tortoise going in, and the dog slips past me smirking.
T-turning round and heading for the grass
- “Favouritism! That’s so not fair!”
