I think you can buy stuff to spray in your garden which cats don't like to stop them from visiting, is there something like that to keep out next door's dogs too?

I just thought...there are probably a lot of dog lovers who are wondering if the dog in my original 'saga' was okay. It is, it was found at its home.

If you can't put up a fence can you put up hedging as a barrier which is not strictly speaking a fence?

I've never understood why these housing estates say no fences. I think fencing looks much better than open plan.

My own take on it if my garden was enforced open plan would probably be a group of attractive pots with suitable plants in (probably matching) put along where I wished to have a fence/but couldnt.

12' where I wanted a fence would probably translate into, say, me having 4 or 5 matching medium size pots with something matching suitable put in them.
