mine is the first time I ever saw Cinderella in the cinema with my parents,
and that was years and years ago, as I am ancient
have loved Cinderella ever since

At the moment my nephews daughter is mad on anything to do with Frozen. For christmas she got the Frozen dress which she wears when not at school. She is 3 years old coming up to 4 and can tell you the names of all the characters.

The Little Mermaid is the film for our Family in Dec 1998 we had a very distressed 3 year old little girl placed with us as an emergency foster placement.
My older daughter put the video of The Little Mermaid on the TV to calm her down & this video became the love of her life & escape.
As our little visitor settled & flourished she quickly made it clear to everybody she was not moving anywhere again & in 2001 we adopted her.At the Adoption hearing when the judge asked her what her new name would be she decided to add in 'Ariel' as a middle name which still makes us all smile!

The sequence early in Up where the lifelong romance of Ellie & Carl is told in just four amazing, heartwarming, tearjerking minutes is probably the best four minutes in cinema.

For me, the original Jungle Book takes a lot of beating. DGC all love everything Disney so I get to watch it whenever they're all here together. With drinks and snacks it's an excellent way to end a busy day.

Trust in me from that film is my all time favourite. Brings back memories from before DH and I were married!

I took my two youngest GSs to Toy Story 3 which I also enjoyed with them. Not much keeps the younger one (then 6) quiet but he just loves the cinema. The best moment for me in that film was when Buzz Lightyear suddenly started speaking fluent Spanish. You have to see it to enjoy it!

So many fantastic films and moments to choose from. One that always makes me smile though is The Bare Necessities song from Jungle book...Yeah man.

Thats a simple one; the scene in the original Cinderella where the tiny flying Fairy Godmothers are arguing about the colour of Cinderella's dress as she dances with the Prince, the dress alternating pink or blue with the swish of a wand. Always remember that original scene and Im 51 now!

Not a good experience, I'm afraid.

I wasted several hours on Dec 30 trying unsuccessfully to register. For the first 7 or 8 attempts, I received a message to the effect that there was a problem with the servers which they were trying to fix. This then changed to a message saying that my password was incorrect, this after I had provided details of my credit card. I then emailed the Helpline and received a response a couple of days later, with details of how to try again.

In the meantime however, both my daughter and I had a good look at what was offer. As a result, I decided not to take part in this 3 month trial offered to members of GransNet.

Key concerns as follows:
1. Concerns about streaming this content over our home broadband service, when bandwidth is limited with additional devices using the same connection.
2. iTunes App Store reviews say that downloads are slow with frequent crashes on iOS even over a dedicated fibre connection, which reinforced our thoughts.
3. Additionally, the App seems to require frequent adult supervision / input. Even after registration, you need to sign-in with username / password every time the app content is accessed and also navigate your grandchild clear of additional in-app purchases...
4. For a £9.99 a month subscription I would expect more. Other companies offering streaming tv/film services are cheaper by comparison - and also allow casting from your iPad to your tv for family viewing, which this app doesn't support.
5. Given the problems detailed at the beginning of this feedback, I remain concerned that my credit card details may have been retained by DisneyLife and have emailed the Helpline again today to ensure their removal.

Finally, while I'm aware that this feedback is overwhelmingly negative , I do hope that it's also helpful for those monitoring this trial for Disneylife.

My favourite Disney moment is something I saw afresh through my daughter's eyes ... and that was 23 years ago - shows how timeless Disney is! As the last treat on her seventh birthday - after the party and just before bed - we watched the video (yes, VIDEO!) of Cinderella. I remember being so excited because we did not have easy access to all the titles back then and Cinderella had been etched in my childhood memories, so how fantastic to find it on sale in time for her birthday!

So there we were, settled in and watching and I was really watching her more, silently congratulating myself on having got it 'so right' for her birthday, when we reached the scene where the two atrocious sisters and their mother are off to the ball. Cinderella gracefully sweeps down the stairway, dressed in the ball-gown that is a revamp of her mother's, made with the help of her animal friends, and asks to join them.

Of course, Cinderella incurs the wrath of her wicked stepmother and the sneers of the sisters. As they broke her necklace and tore the sleeves of her dress, my daughter, totally immersed in the drama, put her hands to her face and cried out 'Oh no! Oh no! and began to cry bitterly.

Spoilt birthday? Not a bit of it ... holding my breath I waited for the next part of the story to unfold and the happy ending that I knew would follow.

My daughter has always been a 'Disney' girl and a film fan and is now a literacy specialist. I think her passion for great story - telling really began there ... perhaps the best present I have ever given her.

The whistle while you work scene, in Snow White. I have tried hard to replicate that happy scene while trudging through my own chores, without noticeable success. I have also failed miserably at persuading nearby animals, or even nearby humans, to lend me a hand, with or without a merry song

My 2 daughters and then my 3 grandchildren all absolutely love Disney, the times ive watched "the lion King" "Bambi" "The Jungle Book" etc. and enjoyed it everytime, but now we have new ones, Frozen and Tangled, they are all watchable again and again with the catchy songs that stick in your head. Who doesn't love Disney

We have been using DisneyLife for almost a month now, with my grandsons 3 and 5.
It was relatively easy to set up on my iPad, and thank goodness they updated the app, as at first you had to log in every time, so the children were asking constantly for it to be logged in.

We watched a lot of the Christmas movies and shows at Xmas time. And now they are watching Phineus and Ferb whenever they come by. They love that show so much they haven't tried other shows yet.

There is something for everyone to watch. Even adults can enjoy some of the film content on there!

We have had problems with streaming Disney Life to the apple TV, but the kids are happy to watch it on the iPad at the moment. I hope they fix the issue soon as it crashes the iPad every time we try to stream.

Yes and No.....It is a bit expensive for what it is. I would be happier to pay £5 a month. Some of the content is on Netflix according to my daughter, so I would be tempted to try that out first perhaps. Although we are enjoying using Disneylife, and that the kids don't need to bring DVDS over as we don't have satellite tv.

Both my grandsons aged 1 and 4 love Disney and its really hard to get them out of a Disney store, without purchasing something ...lol
their best characters are buzz light-year and Mater. Dylan has watched cars 1 and 2 and has memorised most of the dialog.....

I love the moment Rapunzel first escapes from the tower with Flynn Ryder and is so excited but confused and quilty at the same time.

All my familly loves Anna and Elsa. Special birthday suprize for our little one when she could be so close to ''Anna & Elsa''.

It has to be one of my first memories of going to the cinema where I saw The Jungle Book. The hypnotic eyes of the snake kept me on my seat - can't remember if I was scared or not! However, one of my older cousins did scare me when we got home by pretending to be the snake and would say he was going to eat me.

I love the Jungle book.

Too many icon characters and glorious cinematic film moments to draw from, have grown up with Disney and love sharing this magic with our children. Our youngest boy is called Arlo and loves dinosaurs, you know where this is going, so i would have to say The Good Dinosaur is a special movie for our family.

'I've Got a Dream' in Tangled, when all the shady characters start singing about their hopes and dreams, especially the bit where Flynn Ryder is 'encouraged' to contribute

My favourite Disney moment was in Disney Florida where I saw the characters come alive; there is nothing more beautiful than a romance of two opposites - Beauty and the Beast - how awesome that they show that our prince charming is not always the tall dark and handsome; but someone we can relate to with our hearts.

My favourite Disney moment has to be when... Jim Dear and Darling decide to go on a trip (even though they’ve just had a baby, the cheek) and leave Aunt Sarah to look after the nipper in Lady And The Tramp. Except Sarah brings along her Siamese cats, who make Lady’s life a misery. Disney’s not just about animation, it’s also about the music, as proved in the sly lyrics of ‘We Are Siamese’.
