Read GNer feedback on Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion

Tried to leave a review on Amazon but as I do not have an Amazon account I was unable to do so.

Although the lotion is quite runny the skin absorbs it very quickly. I also liked that it has no strong scent which meant my hubby was quite happy to use it.
Re. your questions:
1. Very satisfied with the lotion
2. My husband used it on his bald head which gets dry and itchy and he loved it. He said after two days use the itching had stopped . I used it on my left shin where I have a scar from an accident. It is usually itchy and can have patchy dry areas but the lotion was great and cleared up the dry patches quite quickly and lessened the itchiness.
3. We will both continue using this Balneum Lotion.
4. Already told a few friends about this lotion.

I was surprised how much I like Balneum, I really hate greasy creams but this was non greasy and I liked it even on my face. It has improved my skin and is definately softer.
I used it on my legs and feet and even my heels were improved, I will continue to use it. thank you for the opportunity, I will definately reccommend.

Thanks for the opportunity to try out Balneum Lotion. From the first day, I found the dry itchy areas on my hands had improved, I am a gardener, a naughty one at that, who doesn’t always use gloves, so I suffer from red itchy skin and sometimes have to resort to using prescription steroid ointment. Balneum lotion soothed and reduced the itching and I have been using daily ever since!! I am truly satisfied, love the fact it had no fragrance, which can tend to irritate my skin. I will continue to use it on other parts of my body, legs, feet and arms after swimming and will definitely recommend it to my family. My grandchildren have had over the years, various skin problems, they have also been prescribed various lotions and potions so I will let them give Balneum a try.

4. No recommendation at present. I have suffered itchy arms for a very long time and never really got to grips with the problem. It's too early to say if Balneum works for me.

I was so pleased to be accepted to trial Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion as my eczema 'hot spots' on the front of my legs and behind my knees were driving me crazy especially during the warm weather. I applied the lotion as soon as it arrived ... I think my postman thought I had finally flipped as I grabbed the parcel from him ;) I would highly recommend that friends and family try Balneum as it has a lovely silky texture and melts into your skin making dry patches feel nourished and comfortable. 10/10. 1. I was satisfied with Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion as it instantly moisturised my dry skin. Not sure about the itch relief as my condition wasn't too bad these last few weeks.

2. Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion improved the condition of my skin, making it silky especially my legs.

3. I will continue using Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion following this test. I usually use a cream which is a lot richer and stays on the skin longer, but Balneum gets absorbed quicker and feels light.

4. I would recommend Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion as it a quality product and is soothing.

My sample has still not yet arrived and is I am unable to comment.

When I volunteered to test this product I was suffering from an extremely itchy rash caused by heat. Unfortunately it was many months before the product eventually arrived and the rash had disappeared so I have only been able to test it as a moisturiser.
In general I found it an adequate moisturiser although very thin and watery. I liked that it was free of perfume.
While on my skin, especially the areas prone to dryness such as shins and forearms, the appearance improved but after bathing the improvement disappeared leaving no lasting benefit.
I won't be using it any more but will pass it on to a relative who has dermatitis in the hope that it may help them.

Lovely consistency, great that it is odourless. Pleasant to use, and effective on itchy skin.

I was very satisfied with the lotion. It was a little more runny than I had expected but soaked in to my skin well and I didn’t find it sticky. I normally prefer cream with a pump dispenser but the neat size of the bottle made it easy to use.

2. Did Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion improve your skin's condition? Were there any parts of the body you felt it worked best on?
Yes, I have very dry, and often flaky skin. It made a difference all over but especially my legs. They now have clear smooth (ish) skin.

3. Will you continue using Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion following this test?
Yes. I will definitely get more. My husband has been using it too.

4. Would you recommend Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion?
Yes, I would definitely recommend it. It’s a nice, neat bottle to fit in my swimming bag so that I can apply it afterwards.

Thank you for the opportunity to try this product. I have suffered from itchy arms for many years and have tried so many products, both prescribed and over the counter. I had high hopes of this one as reading the packaging it seemed to offer relief from my symptoms. However, I’m sad to report that it didn’t work for me, although it’s non-greasy and non scented so pleasant to use.

1. How satisfied were you with Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion?
I really liked it. I thought it was quite unusual as it didn't have any smell at all. But I liked that. It absorbed easily ad was light so I didn't expect it to have any effect but it seemed just as good as the really thick creams that I've used.
2. Did Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion improve your skin's condition? Were there any parts of the body you felt it worked best on?
Yes I think it did. On reflection I wish I had put it on one side of the body and not the other so I could make a valid conclusion on it.

I may do if my skin is bad. Otherwise I will use up what I'm half way through at the moment and then see.

Yes .. it's certainly worth giving it a try.

Sixty-six years old here and I have sensitive, white dry skin which is sometimes inflamed plus vitiligo. Also cracked cuticles around my thumbnails especially in winter.

Balneum was a nice lotion to use and the best things I liked about it was that it was not greasy and does not have a perfume.

Only slight niggle was that the lid is hard to open. Would I buy it again? Not sure. Veleda products are still my go-to.

I applied to use this lotion because my skin is so dry, it resembled crazy paving and it itches from time to time :

I liked the product, it was light, non greasy and had very little perfume.

I have used it twice a day on my arms and can see a marked improvement in the texture of my skin.

I will definitely continue to use it and would recommend it to others.

I was very satisfied with it, the product is effective and certainly works.

My feet were in a pretty bad state with itching, peeling, sore, dry skin due to 'contact eczema'. This was improved after the first application and went on to improve with further use.

I will certainly continue to use Balneum and will look at the full range of products too.

I mainly use this product after swimming. It gets rid of the itchiness from chlorinated water. I also use it on my feet in the summer, when I'm wearing sandals, which makes my feet dry out.

I love the fact that it is unperfumed.

Yet another who is really pleased to have been given the opportunity to try Balneum.

1. I’m very very satisfied with this lotion.

2. I’ve used the lotion on arms, legs, inner thighs and forehead. It has proved to be very effective on particularly dry skin on my knees and lower legs and sore skin on inner thighs. It has also softened a very dry patch i often get on the left side of my forehead around the hairline.

3. Yes, I will definitely continue to use Balneum.

I am glad I was chosen to test this product as it si already making a bit of a difference.

1: I am very satisfied with Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion as I wasn't expecting noticeable improvements, especially so quickly. I liked that it was quickly absorbed into my skin, was non-greasy and didn't stick to or stain my clothing - a nice product to use.
2: I would say that by the second or third day of using the product my skin felt softer, smoother and dare I say a little younger too! The dry skin on my elbows and heels was better than it has been in ages and I liked the feel of the cream on limbs and torso. My partner pointed out that he hadn't seen me itching and when I thought about it I have hardly itched since starting to use the cream so I guess it must be working.
3: I will continue using Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion at least until the bottle is gone, and may well buy the product if I keep seeing the improvements.
4: I don't speak to many people but if asked for a recommendation I would be happy to point people towards this product.

My worst problem is ferocious itching on my shoulders if I get warm at all and this seems to be helping a little.

Fortunately for me (but unfortunately for the testing) my itchiness is not constant and generally occurs at times of stress etc. so I was not in a 'bad time' when the bottle of lotion arrived. However on occasions that I did get itchy it did seem to calm the areas down. I did find that it was a very runny lotion though so sadly wasted quite a bit as it ran away before I had chance to apply it but as I understand that there is also a Balneum cream I may try that in due course.

My itchiness tends to be on my arms, chest and abdomen especially when I get hot but I have used it all over. I wouldn't say it has improved the condition of my skin any more than other lotions but it certainly hasn't done any harm.

3. Will you continue using Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion following this test?
I will definitely keep an eye when shopping for lotions and if Balneum is available at a sensible price then I am confident I will use it again - however probably in cream form as the lotion was very runny.

4. Would you recommend Balneum Dry Skin and Itch Relief Lotion?
I have already told several people about my experience and some have tried some of my tester - the general consensus is that being very runny is a slight problem but no one has expressed that they particularly dislike it.

This lotion is really good. Sometimes I feel I am turning into a reptile with scaly skin. My legs are now lovely and smooth. I am going to continue using it and will recommend it to anyone with dry itchy skin

I was satisfied with this product,and noticed an improvement to my skin after using it, particularly to my lower legs that had been dry and itchy.
It did not sting as some other products had and did not feel sticky after applying. I will continue to use it and would consider buying it if the price was right.
