We are delighted that Suzi Godson will be joining us for a live webchat to answer your questions about sex.

How is it affected by the menopause? How can you keep things fresh in long-term relationships? Does (or indeed should) sexual frequency tail off as we get older? What kind of things can we do to keep our sexual relationships going? How do ageing, stress and changing body image affect our sex lives?

Suzi has the answer to all these and more so add your questions for her here.

About Suzi: sex and relationships expert for The Times, her Saturday Sex Counsel columns have recently been published as a book and she is also the author of the The Body Bible, and the award-winning The Sex Book which has now been translated into fifteen languages. For the last year she has been editing www.moresexdaily.com, a free resource which aims to help couples sustain sex in long-term relationships.

I contacted the woman researcher I mentioned who was doing a PhD on 'sexuality and ageing',
She is in the process of sorting all the info from her research and hopes to do a presentation later this year.
She was at the 'Growing Old disgracefully' gathering in 2010 (I missed that)- had a very lively workshop and also generated interest in women wanting to take part in the research –. She will be contacting all participants with a summary
and has promised to keep in touch and let me know when this happens

Hi crosspatch

So sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you but here are the names of those anti depressants I mentioned.

Mirtazapine and Tazadone have less negative effects on sexual function and although the anti-depressant Zyban doesn’t necessarily increase desire, it can improve sexual pleasure, arousal and orgasm.

It may be worth asking your doctor about them and then you could use them to get you through this rough period without compromising your libido. Hope it all works out. Suzi

Average figures are very tricky. The figure for how often people have sex over 60 - how was it derived. Was it:
People between 60 and 70 in relationships
People between 60 and 70 - all of them
All people over 60 in relationships
All people over 60...
etc etc
I can imagine that each of these averages will a different figure.
