Rhinestone Still got vertigo, much better though, thank you. Went to the doctors this morning and got Betahistine that Silver recommended, as it has less side effects than the antivert you recommended R, also 3 people that I spoke to, who suffered from it, also recommended Betah. So just swallowed one, and waiting to see what happens
You can check your blood pressure yourself now at the doctors. Mine has always been 120/70, which is good, today it is 128/81, higher but still good.
When's your birthday Smileless? I just bought a few cards and one would be perrrfect for you S, it's a kitten kissing a guiniea pig, so cute
Off to have my hair cut & then lunch with my neighbour, haven't read last page, but will later. Hope the sun stays out
Thanks Star
Smileless. Pleased your holiday home intact - that must have been a worry. We go to Florida every November and usually start off with a few days in Naples. We watched the news unfolding on CNN which had a reporter there, and it was quite terrifying, though almost addictive, to view especially as we are familiar with the area. So sorry for all the folks who've lost their homes both in Florida and across the Carribean.
If only certain members of our families realised how trivial their grievances are, and how uncertain life can be, maybe they'd grow up and know what's important - and what's not. Hey, but that's asking for too much isn't it?
Ooh that card sounds lovely Yogagirl
but my birthday's not until May
maybe you could keep it for me
.
Hope the new medication helps Yogagirl and that you enjoyed your lunch and are pleased with your hair cut.
Speaking of birthdays I'm sure it's Celeb's today so
and
hoping that you're reading the thread even though you're taking a break from posting.
Thanks Starlady and Fairydoll. Two weeks today, at this time we should be on our way and we're really looking forward to some warm
; seems ages since we had any here.
Had a good session at the gym this morning and am feeling a little jaded so best get up and get on before the temptation to sit down, put my feet up and snuggle with my little dog gets the better of me.

Happy Birthday Celebgran. You many pain free days to look forward to in the coming year.
FairydollWe do Naples also. Beautiful city.
Sorry all about your terrorism in London. Horrible way our world has become .
Hurricane damage is less than expected which is good but many people without power still.
People here are laughing about our first lady's hurricane ? she wore to survey the damage. They must have been five inches high but I guessshe changed them on the plane.
Showing off all that opulence when people are suffering does t ring well with many. I just pray the next three and a half years goes fast without a war.
Amen to that Rhinestone
.
Thank you rhinestone!
I drove today first time!
Numbness in foot slight problem but coped well.

Celebregran, sorry in,issued your birthday, it sound as if you ad a great one, you sound full of beans now.
Rhinestone, sorry about the enormous hit your country has had, heart goes out to everyone. Sure the Trumps improved the situation!!!
To all my other friends on here, hope you are all well. Been so busy last week or two, which helps, then you stop and IT is still there. Oh well.
I have bought some nice snuggly jumpers and pair if velvet
trousers for winter, not to be worn together I might add, winter clothes are more forgiving than summer ones. I have had to change some of the colours I used to wear, my skin tone makes me look so washed out.
Luckylegs snap as we say here, I have been buying some winter stuff and my colours for this winter include blue green and black. In dark versions. They are kinder to my in parts rounded frame!!
Here in Wales it is already cardi wearing weather. Snuggly long line cardigans in a drapey style from our friend M+S, one black, one navy, completes any day to day look.
It's much cooler here today on the coast!
I have pretty range of cards as well as goood old black a d a grey one,
Had nice black and grey striped do that I ruined bleaching my parents grave last year.
It feeling so good today despite better night and lovely cleaner,
Very worried our elderly neibor who been like mum to me especially over sadness of estrangement is ill in hospital she 93!
Hello everyone, I've found you again, had to pm celeb to get directions, I kept looking and even wrote posts that wouldn't post, but after being given directions I've arrived!
I've just read the whole new thread to get up to speed on what you've all been doing. I'm so happy to be back, I do feel the need to connect with those who understand the pain.
Happy belated birthday celeb
Life goes on despite everything. I'll look in again tomorrow.
Welcome back and glad you found us maddyone
.
Glad celeb that you like drapey cardis too, though also know the irritation of ruining one, as you describe getting bleach on a favourite one.
And on the theme of this page, I found myself this week standing in front of the boxed Christmas cards in Waterstones....what a feeling came over me.
What can I say, ladies?
Sparkly
you don't have to say, we know and understand.
Good to see you're with us again maddy
.
Just got back from a long walk with my little dog along the sea front in the warm
.
Found out this week that ES has been to see Mr. S.'s mum
. He just called in unannounced without his children, her GGC; first time he's been in touch in over 18 months.
He told his GM that they've not had a decent night's sleep in 5 years because ........ wait for it ....... they've not had any family support. Really!!!!! now why would that be I wonder.
Hope you've had some reassuring news about your neighbour Celeb and that you're continuing to improve.
Well the ironing is calling me; how can there be so much
there's only 2 of us after all.
What fantastic news Smileless, your mil must be overjoyed to see her grandson, perhaps a reconciliation not too far off, he seems far from happy. I have decided test 9 hours in a suitcase would ruin my hairstyle so abandoned the idea of squeezing in your case.
Sparkly, no words needed, understand.
Well done Celeb, motor down here if you're up to it.
Maddyone glad your popping in, but sad you are still in same position. I think we all need a weekend away together.
Hi ladies yes it come over us unexpectedly doesn't it I had few tears yesterday think with dear xxxx being so poorly and kinda makes me think all loving letters she wrote to ed all Ignored, and then I wonder how can xxx not care about us at all?

Just not about dear neibor disappointed at ward she on and amount of care, do hope not because of her age 93. All other patients were not in good place.
However xxxx is sharp a a knife this has only come on since she got this infection
Glad you found us, Maddyone!
Celeb, glad you're doing better! How kind of you to visit elderly neighbor. 93! Wow! And bet she'll come out of this just fine! Hope so, anyhow.
Sparkly, so sorry about that sad moment. I guess, it's bound to happen sometimes.
Lucky, thanks for the good wishes! Same back to you!
Smileless, what astounding news! What a lovely surprise for mil!
Does es hear himself, I wonder? Did mil answer him about the "family support" issue? I hope she told him, "That's because you cut everybody out."
On second thought, maybe she was afraid that would spoil the visit.
