I don’t want to offend anyone but I’ve just discovered that my dh wees in the shower! It was mentioned on a tv programme and I asked dh if he ever did that and he admitted that he does when he’s caught short! I was shocked and I am no way a prude. What do others think of this?

BlueBelle Sun 18-Nov-18 18:21:21

Is it a derivative of the old English word pi.., P being the first letter They used to call them pi.. pots in old English didn’t they I m thinking of Chaucer
I really don’t think there is anything disgusting and the headline is misleading it’s not a habit it just happens and it s not dirty it’s sterile I don’t wake up in the morning and think ‘ahh today I m going to pee in the shower’
Big old hoo ha about nothing let your husband get on with it and you get on with your toileting before showering

BlueBelle Sun 18-Nov-18 18:22:47

I live the bit where you say I was shocked ?and then add I m really not a prude Oh yes you are ?

Well I have occasionally wee'd in the shower but I'm wondering now if |I should do it more often. I have a bit of athletes foot so it might help and as some have said it would save water. Not sure about putting it on my face to reduce the signs of aging though - probably a step too far!

You've nothing to lose by trying it. You could report back.. smile

Pat1949
there is no way I could ask my husband such a personal question
God forbid that you ever have to give personal care to your husband. shock

not that I pee in the shower, but please think about it!
No thanks Jalima!;wink My mind boggled so I consulted my cardiologist and she said, and I quote, "Don't even think about it, Alan, ( we're in a strictly professional relationship, so I can't ask her to call me Rufus, yet) Your blood pressure has been excellent for years so it would be silly to throw it all away for a cheap thrill. Stick to humour; it's safer."
So there you are. Who can argue with a cardiologist. [rhetorical]. wink
Btw. I'm told pee is an excellent lubricant for shower bases so don't forget to take a non-skid mat in there with you, otherwise you could have a nasty bumpee landing. grin

How do i handle this. Gdaughter 13 head in her mobile won't bother to look up when I go to see them. Not very nice. Where have manners gone? I have my ways she has hers. It's a challenge that I want to work out well. Any ideas?

Jalima1108 Mon 19-Nov-18 11:25:13

SiuzanneB does she take her mobile into the shower with her?

ps I think you have the wrong thread …..

Jalima1108 Mon 19-Nov-18 11:26:01

It would be more of a shock Rufus!!

Jalima1108 Mon 19-Nov-18 11:29:44

ps and I don't come cheap Rufus!

Rufus2 Mon 19-Nov-18 12:13:53

ps and I don't come cheap Rufus!

Of course you don't, Jalima; winkAs I've said before you're a lady of impeccable taste; platinum class only, so top dollar! grin
So how does it work? 2-way mirrors and pay-per-view.? Oh dear! I'd best see my cardio again tomorrow and get another tranquiliser! sad

After I gave birth to my first child, I was left badly battered with three layers of stitches and a cathetar. I couldn't go home until I had managed to wee on my own. It wasn't happening. One of the Nurses told me to have a nice bath and wee in the bath. She said the urine is sterile when it leaves the body.

Bluebelle I find you rather irritating, especially as you seem to beeline for my posts...keep it general

Yellowmellow Wed 21-Nov-18 19:49:04

By the way 'Bluebelle' I was responding to the orginal post put on by sufuller and the comment by gonegirl. I am entitled to my opinion...and yes I think weeing in the shower is pretty gross....again I'd appreciate it if you didn't reply directly about any of my posts. I find you obnoxious

Chewbacca Wed 21-Nov-18 20:04:28

Flipping 'eck Yellowmellow, that's a bit strong isn't it? BlueBelle wasnt rude to you in her reply and it seems a bit OTT to say that you find someone "obnoxious", based on just one comment. confused Chill out!

Jalima1108 Wed 21-Nov-18 20:12:49

especially as you seem to beeline for my posts...keep it general
Are you trying to tell people not to reply to other posters Yellowmellow, or just policing the thread generally?
I think people do look upon the threads as a form of chat.

Bluebelle said nothing which could have warranted your nasty reply.

Yellowmellow Wed 21-Nov-18 22:02:03

There is a history here. You may think my comments harsh, This goes back a while now. I am not on here much,. I made it quite clear to her a while ago that I was entitled to my opinion in a previous post, as is anyone else on here. I have not been on for a while, and as soon as I comment she is there.
As you don't know what has gone on I'm sure it sounds harsh. I would rather this particular person didn't answer me directly

There are three types of waste water, top water( rain), grey water ( shower, basin and washer) and black water( toilet), however you are right, they all meet out in the main sewage system, eventually.
