I don’t want to offend anyone but I’ve just discovered that my dh wees in the shower! It was mentioned on a tv programme and I asked dh if he ever did that and he admitted that he does when he’s caught short! I was shocked and I am no way a prude. What do others think of this?

Jalima1108 Fri 16-Nov-18 15:30:34

oh yuk, I don't think I could do that!

SiobhanSharpe Fri 16-Nov-18 15:49:31

I'd say you were indeed a prude -- I was expecting to read something far worse.
This is very minor in the grand scheme of things.

does your DH know you are on here sufuller
grin

I didn't know that Monica. Thank you. ( And how nice to have a place in France.)

I don't see the problem. As others have said, gallons of water come through the shower and wash it away. My GP actually told hubby to wee over his feet when he had a bad case of athletes foot. One of the best treatments for it!

8 pages so far! First world problems, lol

A funny story, I was out in the countryside with one daughter and grandkids I badly needed a wee so told the others to carry on whilst I found a tree at the side of the path It was quite steep slope so I ran up a bit to get away from anyone walking by and found a nice big tree to hide behind I was midstream when something made me look up and there above me at the top of the slope was another path I hadn’t seen, with lots of weekend walkers and I was right in their eyeview on the wrong side of the tree for that path ???

there was an actress called Sarah something (possibly Miles) who used to wash her face in her own urine to halt the aging process.

With a 70 year old bladder, 6 pregnancies and 'water' tablets, having a wee before I get in the shower is only the first of many - then add in running water!!!

I wasn't going to mention sex in the shower. blush

moobox what a cliche, yawn.

minxie Fri 16-Nov-18 17:05:42

Urine is sterile, what’s the problem

Seakay Fri 16-Nov-18 17:07:23

I'm mainly surprised that you are shocked and that you think "prude" would be thought applicable

Prude - noun - a person who is or claims to be easily shocked by matters relating to sex or nudity.

Spangles1963 Fri 16-Nov-18 17:18:28

It's only wee.

Marieeliz Fri 16-Nov-18 17:20:18

How lazy can you be, just use the toilet, I always go before a shower. Never felt the need to use anything else but the toilet. Only when out walking and find a bush on a 10 mile walk.

It is a lazy thing to do.

Urmstongran Fri 16-Nov-18 18:05:00

sufuller I’m just shocked to read that you are shocked !!

M0nica Fri 16-Nov-18 18:15:45

and what is wrong with a bit of laziness?

GabriellaG Fri 16-Nov-18 18:21:05

I won't bore you with a mention of water sports grinwinkblush

Desdemona Fri 16-Nov-18 19:15:08

I have had a wee in the shower yes. My ex-partner used to have a wee in the kitchen sink if he felt too lazy to walk upstairs to the toilet, which was taking things too far!!

Jalima1108 Fri 16-Nov-18 19:43:00

turn the shower on to warm it up then go to the loo

Simples

Yes but what would my horse drink grin

BlueBelle Fri 16-Nov-18 20:15:42

The best was when I was camping once and went into the ladies toilet block and a young lady had her kecks down one leg up on the wash basin washing her nether regions ?

Moya Fri 16-Nov-18 20:15:56

I have a feeling my husband probably does I don't really want to know. I will be making sure I use more antibacterial spray from now on. I myself always go to the toilet before I enter the shower, it makes me feel fresher.

Jalima1108 Fri 16-Nov-18 20:22:44

I don't do it, but I don't think it's a problem; there is worse that goes down the drain.

What about those fatbergs?

annep Fri 16-Nov-18 20:44:09

kitchen sink?? Nooo!!

Kapitan Fri 16-Nov-18 21:36:03

When you think about it, it could be far worse!
