Have you tried Reiki? I had a friend who did reiki and although I didn't believe it would work she asked if I wanted her to help my sore throat. I let her try and it was wonderfully warming and it did help. It is just a channeling of healing earth energy through the reiki master's hands. Sounds weird but it can't hurt.

I am very tempted to seek out some spiritual healing. I know my late husband had severe arthritis in his neck and two ladies from the Baptist chapel put their hands near his neck (didn't touch him!), said some prayers and he never had pain from that day on. I have got problems with my voicebox, larynx and throat and think perhaps it wouldn't help to give it a shot. Does anyone have any advice, or experience here?
