What kind and compassionate responses. They have made me start to think about what is right for me. I do feel that God won't mind which of his churches I worship in because He will always make me welcome. Like TerriBull Catholicism was hard wired into me and it is hard to fully shake it off. I was told as a Child at my Catholic school you cannot go into other churches and you can't be friends with that Child because they are not a Catholic. Hopefully that prejudice is not around today although I still find the Catholic Church has not moved with the times and for me does still not embrace other religions Christian or otherwise. I just find the whole thing about attending Mass every Sunday and going to Confession stifling. My local C of E Church does not put pressure on me to attend Sunday services on a regular basis, they are happy for me to attend their coffee mornings and other social activities and have recently invited me to their Christmas lunch which I am happy to accept. I hope and pray that the decision I am making is right and that I will find contentment within the C of E.
