The thread title is "Prince Andrew and the Moral Law" - what does whether Epstein's guards lied or not got to do with it? I think Annie you are grasping at straws in trying to defend PA not giving a statement.

Old I’m afraid annies posts will not not address the basic moral issue here as it would mean criticising PA ( and in my view HM as well).

allegedly hanged himself , perhaps he did, perhaps he was silenced . who would he have named if he had gone to trial ?

Yes, name names, why not? - they could be potential witnesses who saw or heard something to help the investigation

PA has stated he didn't have sex with her. If he gave a statement to the investigating authority he could reiterate that and then answer questions regarding anything he may have seen or heard whilst visiting the house.

It’s easy to judge that he is not doing the moral thing. He is acting in his own best interests and I’d like to know what’s moral,and/ or Christian about that. Perhaps you could point me to the verse in the Bible that says ‘Thou shallt only do the right thing when it coincides with thine own best interest’

Not always easy to take the moral position unless one has never been asked to , easy to judge then.

Yes Old exactly that- giving a witness statement as to what he observed that might well help bring about justice. A moral position that both HM and PA should adopt. What’s not to endorse?
