It's this week, starting tonight but the 14th is supposed to be the best night. Am planning to stay up and watch now that I've retired!

I sat out for an hour and only saw 2 I might try again tonight

I saw about 4 but I was looking on and off for quite a while. Annoyingly each time I decided to stop I'd see another one. Need some sort of warning gizmo to be invented.

What sort of camera and exposure, Katek?
All my photos are just black, even though the exposure was 7 seconds and on a tripod, night scene.
I could see them; my camera couldn't.

Hoping to see Perseids in a few hours if the cloud cover goes away!

Its very cloudy here too , still time though I guess.

Cloudy here too. Supposed to have a thunderstorm at 10 as well. It's all happening tonight!

Cannot see a single star tonight, so I am going to bed early, and hoping it will be better tomorrow night.
My son's family are on a ferry on the way to Denmark at the moment. I told them to watch for the meteorites, but I do not think they will be able to either.

Same here. Going to watch the Atlantic programme instead of stargazing.

My husband and I found the very best way ever to watch out for meteors last night , we lay back in our new Lay-z-spa in the garden and spotted 2 meteors about 11pm was absolute bliss. We are in Inverness, Scotland.

I saw them on Wednesday night. It was cloudy here at 10, but clear at 11, and I went out and saw several before I got too cold ( having just thrown on enough to be decent over my nightie). Thanks to DGS2 who had seen something about it on Newsround and wanted me to be sure to remember to look out!

Last night it was cloudy and today it's raining, so don't expect to see any more, but I am glad to have seen it once this time round.

The Perseids can still be seen, by the way.
I saw some between 1.30 and 2.00 this morning. There was a shooting star as well.
