We have to be vigilant not to make decisions on opinions that are out of date.

Renewable energy sources are of course safer but we’ll never produce enough from solar, wind and tidal to feed our present day needs.

I lived for 20 years off grid with all our power coming from these 2 sources.

8% isn’t very much. Why aren’t we harvesting the Severn Bore? What happened to the Swansea Bay project and will the proposed Bridgwater Bay go ahead?

However there are some things that "great scientists" will never agree to and that doesn't mean that their minds are closed. I have been accused of having a "closed mind" because I don't believe in the supernatural, and many other things. Anyway, I've diverted the thread, back to solar power.
