I agree with all those ideas, Jacey, but for some reason additional emoticons very rarely materialise. (Snowflake emoticon, anyone...).
What's a wooden spoon emoticon for, jacey? somebody else will be as baffled as I am so I'm asking for them as well.

I'm never argumentative, as you all know , so this is just for mischief. According to this site, it's perfectly acceptable for common or garden non-sailors to call the union flag the union jack.

Oh, I agree . I only said it was 'acceptable' for use by the hoi polloi . After all, it's what people say, right or wrong. It will become right through ignorant usage like many another incorrect thing in our language.
