What about a nice rose? grin

Steady on, there could now be a 'debate 'lasting two days about whether it will be a white or red rose. wink

rosequartz Tue 22-Apr-14 21:57:50

Quartz colour? Pink?

rosequartz Tue 22-Apr-14 21:58:33

Although rosesarered may not agree

Should have been a knight ! I am sure that is not impossible!

If we are being picky the dragon ought to be dead as it represented evil and St G the goodness that overcame it!

Hands off the dragon! He is an old friend now that he is in his third year.

If that works then St George is a hero!

Traditionally it is a red rose for St. George's Day. My grandparents always wore one to celebrate the day, as did many of their peers - and they were quite expensive in those days too. smile

A rose would have been nice, but a dragon will do. At least they remembered - poor St George, his day usually drifts by virtually unnoticed.

As long as St George has slain him by midnight.
