I am perhaps naive but apart from when a poster has made it apparent that they have changed "names" for a reason I have never realized that something not quite on course has happened. Am I alone in this? Certainly recent posts on some subjects have been unpleasant and unkind.

We are aware of one troublemaking difficult member who has done this several times.
Many of us are avoiding GN for this reason.

Eh? What's the point in 'avoiding' GN? Just don't engage with the difficult member.

Goodness me, it seems as though members are already taking Julie at her word and reporting any slight doubt or worry about anyone new (or possibly old, for all I know) to GNHQ 'just in case'.

Same here rose. Some days never come on at all because too many other things to do and then when I do I don't know what is happening.

Read one thread in which someone left and couldn't see why the thread was there at all because it looked to me as if it was a thread about a thread and that is not allowed! Hadn't read the first one anyway.

I am a simple minded soul and don't understand why some feel it necessary to be unpleasant on here. What do they get out of it? Then they go away and come back and do exactly the same. Why? Those who spend more time on here than me soon see who they are anyway. Nothing wrong with disagreeing but no need to be nasty about it. Perhaps those who are unpleasant see this as some sort of outlet because they would be very lonely if they behaved like that face to face.

Unfortunately GN is a bit addictive and I promise myself I won't go on for a few days or a week, then I do!
