I'm to be MOB in September! As its at a sailing club and I'm 70! Think that southwester and offshore sailing gear would be better!
(Suppose I could have designer wellies? Trimmed with pearls of course?)

It's been reported several times but doesn't actually advertise anything
Plus it is a hoot!

Perhaps we should report jingl's link? grin

It doesn't take much brainpower to realise that 'glam dress' is a website, and then find it. It's just a sneaky way of advertising.

jingle - great bit of Miss Marple research on your part. Galen, when I was MoB a couple of years ago I got myself in a tizz about not appearing like the Lady Mayoress of Weatherfield, or like myself in drag. I'd stay with the designer wellies trimmed with pearls look if I were you grin

The Breton sailor look is very 'in' this year Galen
As it is most years in fact
I have a photo of me at 18 in skinny jeans and a Breton top
(Wish I was that slim now!)

This OP is another version of one a few months ago, I think.
Spammers galore early first thing this morning hmm

grin
I tried on a Breton top and looked like a warning buoy adrift in the channel hmm

loopylou grin
I think you can get away with most things when you're 18 and slim, not now I'm pushing 70 60ish and not so slim overweight!

Has anyone bought one of those dresses yet?

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 13-May-15 19:32:32

She must have had her DD at thirteen to be able to wear this one Andf she still wouldn't look like the Mother of the Bride. grin

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 13-May-15 19:34:36

And she could make it a double wedding with this one hmm

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 13-May-15 19:35:28

I will convince HQ that this is an advert! grin

If DD2 ever gets married (unlikely atm) I will wear slim (well, slimmish if I lose a stone or two) trousers and a Breton top! grin

Very fetching for Mother of the Bride

The Bride would think it was hilarious, but MIL may not be so impressed!
