No! Hate tattoos! Always told DDs we couldn't guarantee we would never find ourselves under a malevolent regime, in which case we would not want any permanent identifying marks. I'm afraid one of them got a tattoo within a week of starting her art degree, so that worked well, didn't it?
Fortunately, it is on her lower back, below the waist line. She tells me it is a Japanese character meaning 'Angel', which was her nickname, but I said it probably meant 'gullible idiot'! That was 19 years ago. She says she was a bit of an idiot, but she's not too bothered. Have to add, she is the most sensible young woman, and it was the only sign of rebellion, so I reckon I'm lucky.
