We're looking to do more webchats (could be about Brexit, a forthcoming General Election or absolutely anything else at all)

We would love to know who your ideal webchat guests would be. So do let us know on this thread.

Boris. smile I think he's got a few days off coming up.

Gonegirl Mon 09-Sep-19 11:41:36

Oh go on! Have a go. Ask him.

CariGransnet (GNHQ) Mon 09-Sep-19 12:43:29

Happy to. Can't guarantee he will say yes obviously

Gonegirl Mon 09-Sep-19 13:04:00

You've got a direct line haven't you?!!!

I knew it!

Jess Phillips - she was awe inspiring when she spoke about not allowing Boris to use her constituents as collateral. I felt quite emotional!

I'd also love you to get Susan Calman on, just 'cos I love her smile

Slightly off topic but would love to speak to my gt grandfather, Walter Scott who did a runner in about 1905 leaving a wife and 3 young children [the eldest being my grandmother]. Would love to know where he ended up - Canada, Australia....

Gonegirl Wed 11-Sep-19 11:30:47

Anymore votes for Boris? This could be your big chance!

SirChenjin Wed 11-Sep-19 11:37:13

For a very low definition of big chance grin

Kind as your offer is Gone, I think I'll pass.

Gonegirl Wed 11-Sep-19 11:39:55

We could direct him to the "nutter" thread!

Gonegirl Wed 11-Sep-19 11:40:48

(Wouldn't really do that Cari)

NotSpaghetti Wed 11-Sep-19 17:55:19

Dominic Cummings

SirChenjin Wed 11-Sep-19 18:38:31

???

Gonegirl Wed 11-Sep-19 18:38:58

Dominic Cummings would do.

Gonegirl Wed 11-Sep-19 18:40:24

He's be up for it. Picture of him in the paper today wearing a scruffy hoodie, taking the dog for walk. Probably bored at the moment.

Riverwalk Wed 11-Sep-19 19:01:31

He'd be happy with the GN demographics - lots of Brexit oldies and Northerners

M0nica Wed 11-Sep-19 19:21:42

Joe Swinson

Sandi Toksvig, to tell us about the work of the Women's Equality Party.

Davida1968 Sat 21-Sep-19 10:01:02

A "yes" here for Chris Packham. (Someone who stands up for wildlife.)

vickya Sat 21-Sep-19 11:38:10

Many of the ones already mentioned would bemy choice too. Not Boris. Get enough of him on tv/radio etc. But Sandi Toxvig, Chris Packham, Judy Dench, Jess Phillips all get my vote too. What about some authors? Elly Griffiths is one of my favourites. Also Louise Penny, who is Canadian, but Gransnet is read from there too, isn't it? And Kerry Greenwood.
