We're looking to do more webchats (could be about Brexit, a forthcoming General Election or absolutely anything else at all)

We would love to know who your ideal webchat guests would be. So do let us know on this thread.

Kathy Burke...her recent documentary series was excellent.

Either Alan Tichmarsh or Monty Don. Their programmes have shown me how to turn what I believed unachievable into achievable.

Definitely Chris Packham and David Attenborough.

We would have to have his dog as well. That would be ok. He might -manage-- do a little yap or two.

Actually, someone senior from Extinction Rebellion might be good. Perhaps they could put their hopes/demands over in terms we can understand.

I'm a great admirer of Chris Packham, but I can't think of what I'd want to ask him. My vote would be Boris. Boris would be wonderful. Lots of things to ask him!

Yes to Joan Bakewell. She has a lot of common sense.
What about Helena Kennedy QC? She sees the law from Woman’s point of view - could be very helpful. Please not Doris Johnson. Enough’s enough.
How about Karen Armstrong. Very wise spiritually.
There doesn’t seem to be much of that on Gransnet. I DONT mean religion.
Anna Ford?

DidoLaMents Mon 30-Sept-19 15:46:26

Margaret Atwood, please! What an interesting, wonderfully direct and outspoken woman.

I'd also like a webchat with the CEOs of major supermarkets.

(For instance, I was in Waitrose over the weekend and they had an offer on chickens for £3 shock. So I would like to ask e.g. whether at that price I can be sure that the chicken has had a good life - as promised by Waitrose about all their chickens).

Grannyknot Mon 30-Sept-19 17:34:02

That's for a whole roast chicken. With herbs and spices. In a bag. And a foil tray.

Definitely Chris Packham for me. I have a specific question I would like to ask him.... or David Attenborough if Chris is not available.

Gerry Robinson the former CEO of many big companies. Richard Branson, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger and Dame Maggie Smith .
