I don’t mind . It is what I think - these threads can be rather disingenuous, or can end up that way when people start making veiled references to other threads and ‘other posters’ .

It is, IMO, far more adult to disagree on the original thread, or say why you think something is out of order than to insinuate on threads like this, or make criticisms without backing them up.

What is it about my post that is a ‘downer’? With what do you disagree? No facts or figures needed - but a bit more explanation would be useful to anyone wondering if they are one of ‘those posters’.

Imo ( not a damn fact in sight) we had to be non specific to stop this thread being otherwise ( rightly) deleted. I just about always disagree ( if I do ) on a specific thread as do the posters I see on here ( disclaimer I have not fact checked this). It seems to me this thread has pulled together some issues of general concern, explored and discussed them.Some of us feel we have learned something.

I think Nanna8 it’s like I said upthread, posting on here isn’t quite the same as chatting away with friends. That’s free and easy. Body language and laughter helps. Here, not so much.
