Why do some topics not move up the active thread?

Josiannes comments about her ‘1000 pictures’ thread are especially relevant.
It’s a lovely thread of posters beautiful photos (she was called Ellianne when she started it.
The thread was literally not showing up anywhere.
I was also miffed that my Royal Chat thread wasn’t appearing anywhere. If people don’t know that a thread exists it’s utterly pointless!

I’ll read back Fanny. I do respect your views .

The Last Day lists everything in order and more .

0h…….now it has, no rhyme or reason can’t really be bothered any more with it…

Apparently not, I don’t know what’s going on with this at all….

I have posted on two different threads tonight and neither of them went on to trending, I wonder if this one will?

I have never seen the photo thread

Am I actually on the naughty step? or am I just not using the forum properly?

I was originally from near Hexham fanny. Still in North East but not Northumberland. I used to work near Alnmouth though, its lovely.

I’ve just had a quick flick through the photo thread.
There are some beautiful pictures on there, I haven’t seen it in months.
Aldom your garden and flowers look lovely.

Galaxy are you from near Alnmouth? It’s in my top two favourite places

Oh I only access here on my laptop

I think in all honesty If I hadn't have been forced to be in my own family's whatsapp group. I could have a burner phone

how do you hide threads?

You can only do it on the mobile site.
Click on the downward pointing arrow in a circle at the top right, next to the Sub Forum title
The option to hide the thread should appear.
You can also ‘unhide’ them, but that’s a bit more of a faff

well i have just posted on one of my old threads and it has moved up and onto active. Maybe I should be cleaning my oven though and keeping my husband happy
