Kim19 ok, thanks for replying. It’s odd that Mumsnet is fine but Gransnet shows up differently.

The op post is always green on my iPad and my posts are always pink , the same as on my iphone

we are not as valuable to them, HQ, as MN is.
so they don't bother to change it for us.

Every one of the OP posts are in green on my ipad and any contributions I make are in pink. Simples!

Does it depend on version of OS your machine’s on? Or which model of iPad/iPhone?

My old iPad cannot be updated to the latest OS that my phone and laptop use.

Can we see a screenshot of an OP post in green highlighted further down the thread please?. E.g. back at the beginning of this thread, Calendargirl (the OP) has posted again. It appears white on my screen.

The only time subsequent posts of OP are highlighted in green on my phone is when I'm not actually logged in. But since I want to stay logged on, it's not much use!

It is pretty old fashioned this site, probably the most old fashioned of all the sites I have been on. Granny site for grannies ? I have never come across a site that removes posts just because someone, just one person, doesn’t like what you are saying, either, come to that. Takes all sorts I guess.

Yes, I'm smiling at 'it takes all sorts'. Sure does. I seem to have upset someone with one silly flippant word here earlier today. Seemed okay and flighty when I wrote it but...... there you go.
