I don't know what 'never happened' as I don't know what 'it' is supposed to have been. how can someone invalidate something without knowing what it is?

Flinging accusations about without saying who is being accused of what is, IMO, pretty low behaviour. It will be upsetting for those in your firing line, and may also upset those who wrongly feel they've been targeted.

I mean the people who may think you are getting at them, and have others think that you are getting at them. You don't think that firing shots about 'something happening' and 'blameworthy behaviour' without saying 'who did it' is victimless, do you? I assume that you want someone, or Some People to take note of what you are saying, but this thread has established that nobody has much of a clue about what's happening, so accusations are very likely to hurt the wrong people. In a world where you can be anything, #BeKind?

Fanny, if that works for you, great - go ahead and focus on yourself; but I am fed up with this sort of thing. I have said before (as have others) that bullying behaviour should be tackled when it happens, and I think that this is what is going on here. The 'Some People' accusations are tedious, and happen regularly, and I am putting my money where my mouth is and calling it out. Suggesting that something 'vile' is going on that most people don't know about, but is bad enough to lead to people being banned is insidious behaviour, as it is divisive and causes unnecessary speculation and mistrust amongst posters.

Along the lines of what Fanny said, I do wonder why original posters start these kind of threads and what they are hoping to achieve. Lots of other posters come along to give sound advice, some suggest reasons or answers and some, like me, express bewilderment and probably muddy the waters even more. Then along come the ones who throw their arms in feigned or true, shock and horror.
Why open up a thread if you know what you already believe, just to encounter opposition and accusations? I don't get it.

Nothing to do with this. The Rev Chris was an entirely different thread. I was talking about you saying something had just happened to you where someone had mentioned something about qualifications. And something about narcissism. And a reference to someone saying something about your work. All on this thread. Obviously it's up to you what you post, but for someone who finds all of this boring, you have made a number of contributions! From what you've said, it seems that you think whatever 'it' is is about you, so why not say what's going on, so that people can defend themselves if they need to?

I'm not carrying animosity across threads, just speaking up when I see bullying. There was a similar thread a while ago (in the sense that unspecified accusations were made against Some People), and the consensus seemed to be that when we see such behaviour we should deal with it on the thread, rather than 'let things fester'.

I don't think that I am being got at (am I?). I doubt it, as I have rarely interacted with the OP, and have no clue about the numerous subtexts that seem to be going on. I plead innocent, if I am in the frame, but innocent of what, I'm not sure .

I see other people being got at - with no substance to the accusations, and suggestions that the fact that people who may be on a warning could be banned if they speak out (again about something unspecified). I think that is threatening and bullying behaviour, which is why I mentioned it. That's all.

Soooooo, have I got this right? Three posters which are Fleurpepper and Gagajo and VioletSky have seen something although can’t say what it is, or who has done it, but know that mean things are being said or being done.Or not.

I don't know why you made it about you. How could I? I pointed out in my previous post a few of the things you've said that suggested (in the absence of any concrete accusations) why you appear to think it is, but I can't do more than that.

I've never heard of the narcissist's prayer, I'm afraid.
