I've seen this question asked several times but never an explanation. Every other forum I have used has this facility and it is so useful - either to correct an error or add a bit more information.
Gransnet is probably the largest and best funded forum I use so why can't this be done??

On one hand we are constantly being told (particularly on MN) that we are all millionaires with untold disposable incomes, and on the other that we are not cost-effective when it comes to ad revenue. Both can't be true.

I think possibly we don't buy what is thrown at us, and largely ignore all those awful promotional videos showing us how to do our make-up or make scones with lemonade! We don't [part with our casheasily!

I'd like to be able to get back to where I last "saved" on a thread let alone be able to edit a post!

I do this using the bookmark function.

So do I but it doesn't work. It will take me to a page but I have to read through to find the word "saved" because it doesn't take me to the actual post I bookmarked.

It works for me, it takes me to the post that I bookmarked.

Are you using a phone, Blossoming? That works but not on my MacBook which is the main tool in my arsenal of technology. grin

Mumsnet seems to have an edit feature now. So maybe it’s coming?
