Big red non- advert!

I’m being driven mad by a large red square that pops up intermittently when I open a thread or turn the page on one. It says it’s an advertisement but there’s nothing there, just a blank red square. At its base it says to scroll down to get the posts. If you scroll down you can get the posts it’s not obscuring but not the ones above that it is (a lot of them). It doesn’t disappear. You have to go to another thread/page and then come back to the problem page which is then ok.
It’s been happening for a while….on my iPad but not on my Mac.
Is this something that can get sorted by Gransnet who presumably book the ads or is just my end?

I get the Jet2 one. I sent a report with screen shot to HQ ages ago but nothing has been done.

Yes, I get the Jet2 ad as well. I get the impression GN aren’t bothered.

The problem with the red screen is that there is no way you can get rid of it except refreshing your screen, if it had an X in the corner to dismiss it that would be preferable.

I agree. It’s been going on for so long, and only on GN. I hope Jet2 isn’t paying them to allow this very intrusive advert,
