Please can I suggest we use the report button on the scam threads but don’t post “Reported” on the thread

By posting on the scam thread it’s keeping it active and bringing it back up the list. We can bombard GNHQ with reports but we don’t need to post it on the thread.

Also the bumping threads are useful to help bury the spam till it’s removed . They were very briefly knocked off the active thread earlier but the “Reported” comments pushed them up the list again.

I agree with those who say report once if it hasn’t already been reported, and yes, post that you’ve reported. Everyone knows then that it’s done and can leave GNHQ to deal with it. Multiple reporting is a waste of everyone’s time.

As I’ve said on another thread, I find the constant bumping, and urging others to bump, more annoying than the spam posts. Why not just ignore them? It’s irritating to go into a thread thinking there are new posts on it, to find that no, three different people have bumped it in quick succession.

Can GNHQ please give guidance on their preference? Should we type reported or not? Is it a nuisance to get multiple reports for the same post? @LilyGransnet
