Why have I been rerouted to mumsnet today?

I also haven't commented because I don't use the email and haven't been sent to MN. Don't think there is anything sinister about it. GN is always open on my laptop. Or if it's not I just Google it and go straight there.

I get a Gransnet Daily email showing “top threads” (usually from the previous day). Opening today’s email took me straight to Mumsnet. This hasn’t happened before. I use an iPad.

Not at all. I find it very honest and refreshing unlike GN which is often an echo chamber.

I just Google Gransnet and log on. Didn't know there was another way.

That's what I do Callistemon. I type Gransnet Active into Google and I'm in (password saved to my computer). No idea about emails or icons.

Yup, same here, straight to Mumsnet.

Bluebelle I'm with you on this. The app icon is on my homepage on my phone. I rarely open Gransnet from their email. Never a problem

it opens at what i was last reading, so that suits me fine.
then all the other sites i usually read are all along the top line, so i just click between them as i wish.
they do all disappear occasionally, perhaps because there are too many of them and they just drop off, i don't know, but i can get them again easily by clicking the plus sign and searching through google.

I wasn't routed through Mumsnet today or any other day. I always click on the Gransnet icon. Considerably dumbfounded today to find myself confronted by dozens of spam messages.

I access Gransnet directly, not through any emails.

Just thought, "oh a blip" and deleted the mail and went back to open GN the usual way, but its only happened the once.

I get Gransnet if I click on the icon but if I click on an email link it opens Mumsnet.

No access for me too. Strange Gransnet hasn't noticed. Would have expected a message explaining technical difficulties being experienced.

So do none of you have the GN icon on your home page or in favourites can I ask why ? I presumed everyone just automatically clicked in like I do and it’s all immediate

We receive emails from Gransnet and ensure it is not a scam email, we then open it up and see lots of comments that I thought were on Gransnet Forums but no, they are all on Mumsnet. I do not read anything on Mumsnet.
