I'm very ptoud of Andy. He gave of his best. Roger is a rremarkable champion and deserved to win. Andy's speech made me cry.

I agree AlisonMA, I wonder if he will now propose to Kim.
How emotional it was and shows he does have a heart!

Well, glad that's over. Also now we (and I mean DH and me) re in the middle of watching the Tour; now there are some lovely legs and bottoms!

A great match. Andy gave him a run for his money and did very well for his first final at Wimbledon. Wishing him well for next year. When is he going to marry that pretty girl?

Never, ever thought I'd shed tears for Andy Murray but I did just now. I wish they'd just let the losers slip away after these games, but how brave and eloquent he was. Glad Federer has beaten Sampra's record, however. I do think that Murray is getting better and his day will come.

What an honourable pair they both are. I felt so sad for Andy Murray and all the family and friends he had around him, when I saw them crying as he tried to speak. And aren't Roger's little girls adorable?

Yeaaaaahhhh! Roger has done it again. He's first in the world again - amazing. So sorry for Andy, and I bet he'll be in the final again next year. What a smashing match!!

Ahh! I lived in Wim for many years but know nothing about the tennis ..went to look round with the WI!!! The museum was interesting but expensive..would not pay to go!

When the roof is closed they have to adjust the air circulation and organise the lighting according to the prevailing daylight. That's why it takes 20 minutes or so.

Not sure why either..maybe waiting for roof to close??

I must be completely dim but why does rain still stop play at Wimbledon - surely the posh new roof should mean play can continue whatever the weather.
Unless they really do need a breather?

He has done well so far, let's hope the rain break gives him a second wind!

One of the ball boys on Centre Court was a pupil at the school where I was HT! Well done him..this is his 5th & final year as a BB. his brother is also a BB at Wimbledon. But congrats to David!

I can't understand why they don't have the roof closed. A hold up will not be welcome.

My very best wishes go to Andy Murray for tomorrows match with Federer I do hope he is able to play his very best Tennis,and give us a long awaited win.My friend Mavis and I are delighted to have seen his success this far and hope now he can reach his goal

and we stand a chance with the men's double finals too!
