Just seen an article about the Closing Ceremony. Now's our chance to plead for our case, namely that it is not ruined by ageing rock stars, wheezing their old hits and displaying their hair dyes!

NOT POOR OLD PAULY -especially if he attempts Hey Jude again. The only way he gets through that one is getting the audience to sing. 'Cos he can't anymore.

Ray Davis wasn't that bad, can't put him in the same league as Maccca and co!

Have to watch till the end even though very jetlagged as DH and DS1 are sitting very close to the flame so may see them when it goes out.

DH is recording it so if anyone has missed it and wants to see it just PM me and I will get you a copy. (I hope it works as he set it all up more than 2 weeks ago when we went on holiday!)
