Coooeee Tegan!

Got back yesterday at 4pm, so obviously could not watch "Royal Ascot".

Viewed a little today, must have been tired , not so good, also DD came
round, which was great, so put Ascot on the back burner .

Will have another go tomorrow !

I'm at a wedding tomorrow so will miss the racing, but going to Newmarket next week; museum, stables, gallops, National Stud and racing. The Fugue won the other day. I had a 28/1 third today but backed a horse win only [a racing certainty] which came second . Whenever I back win only they came second and the annoying thing was it started as a decent ew price [was 5/1 when I backed it so waste of time going ew].

It is such a sweet little town , hard to believe so much goes on around there, and sooo much money , heyho!!!

Wedding was lovely. Bride and groom were both engineers. Instead of confetti we were all given a paper plane to throw at the bride and groom who then drove away in a car that they had built themselve [which followed aerial stunts overhead by the plane that the groom and his father had built]. The invitations had been hand drawn by the bride and we were all given flower seeds in tiny envelopes with, again, hand drawn pictures on them. Quite lovely.
