Wimbledon 2013 - my idea of heaven. Is it yours?

I loved it when, it was such fun. It reminded me of the men's doubles matches in the Ken Rosewall era which were very entertaining and light hearted.

Yes, saw that whenim64 - I came late to it so was a bit confused with all the Macs but great to see. I sort of felt I might have been able to join the match, then saw the service speeds - at their age Wonderful.

The funniest bit was when one of them told the ball boy to keep his racquet and take over. He lost the point for them and got sent back to his position. The crowd were laughing their heads off

Wow, I didn't see that. Lovely. What sport is about at a normal level. I so love tennis, my favourite game. It does feel as if there's a changing of the old order this year which is good.

How big is Del Potro [or is Ferer [sigh] very small?]. Reminded me of one of those Spitting Image sketches.

Del Potro is 1.98 metres which is about 6'5". Ferrer is 1.75m - about 5'7.5". Yes, Tegan, that is quite a disparity. A lot of the male tennis players are way over 6' and many of the women would dwarf Ferrer!

What's up with Andy this afternoon? Has he lost some of his momentum?

They were questioning whether his back was bothering him again earlier .

How much hair spray has Verdasco used? His hair stays remarkably immaculate.

I feel tortured. Have a banging head. Fear that Andy may not recover.

I need to go and do a big shop but can't leave the TV, Andy seems to have rejoined the game now! Luckily the big supermarkets stay open for ever!

I'm still concerned about Verdasco's hair....... has he gone off to do more waxing/spraying perhaps....?

Brilliant. Great match.

It was a Samson thing; when his hair unravelled so did his game. Phew. Didn't actually watch it; sat in the living room with the telly on reading the sunday papers and listening out for the oohs and aahs. I'm used to race that last a few minutes; these games that last for hours wear me out. I'll have to watch the replay now. Can't believe Murray came back and won.

Brilliant match. Terrible interview after. My knitting got faster and faster, glad it's stocking stitch!

It was the interviewer who was terrible. Inane and stupid questions. Andy did his best.
