Well then. Wales not looking that sharp I thought, considering the stellar line-up. And England closely beaten by a dangerous looking France. I wouldn't like to put money on who was going to win the 6 nations this year.

Oh ye of little faith...WHATABOUTTHATTHEN! grin from ear to ear. wine

annodomini Sat 22-Feb-14 15:35:09

Oh yes, nannyfran, my blood ran cold when I heard who the ref was today!

nannyfran Sat 22-Feb-14 15:26:22

Well done Scotland, I'm so pleased for you-and in spite of Steve Walsh!
Just don't do it again on the last weekend!

Soutra Sat 22-Feb-14 15:23:18

Oh my ears and whiskers!! I am so glad I stuck with it but my nerves are in SHREDS !smile smile smile !!

annodomini Sat 22-Feb-14 15:19:55

They don't half make us sweat! Couldn't believe that wonderful drop goal. A late blooming flower of Scotland!

Elegran Sat 22-Feb-14 15:18:20

What a final score! Talk about cutting it fine!

J52 Sat 22-Feb-14 15:17:41

Hurrah for Scotland. What a game. X

annodomini Sat 22-Feb-14 14:21:19

Half time and I must be a masochist to be watching this. sad

Soutra Sat 22-Feb-14 13:32:49

OK so are we sitting comfortably? Or are we behind the sofa already! shock

soop Sat 22-Feb-14 13:03:24

Ditto nannyfran

nannyfran Sat 22-Feb-14 12:40:06

What relief! It's nice to be able to smile again after last night. Sorry Priestland, you did O.K after all.
Good luck Scotland and may the Gods and the ref. be with you.

nannyfran Fri 21-Feb-14 15:47:17

I'm very nervous about tonight after their last performance. The George North change of position should also be interesting.I wish Gatland had given James Hook a go at No.10 instead of Priestland. We shall see!

JessM Fri 21-Feb-14 15:40:40

Wales plays France at 8 tonight - Mike Phillips dropped. Be interesting to see how his replacement controls the play.

nannyfran Sun 09-Feb-14 15:58:38

I felt the score in the Scottish game did not reflect Scotland's performance fairly, I thought they were unlucky in many ways even though England played well.
As for Wales-I can't believe how awful they were and still feel depressed about it all.Humiliating is right Anniebach! It will be a relief not to have a game next week, my nerves won't stand it.

annodomini Sun 09-Feb-14 14:03:02

Sacking the captain demoralised 'les autres' in my opinion. They didn't look like a team at all. An old stager like Kelly Brown should at the very least have been on the bench What an insult. It's time they got rid of that coach. He was interviewed and I could hardly understand a word he said but what did come through was complacency.

soop Sun 09-Feb-14 12:35:39

ditto Agus

Soutra Sat 08-Feb-14 22:41:27

That's a whole other story Galen! Probably grin

Galen Sat 08-Feb-14 22:21:14

Do you think Alex Salmond should be sacked then?

Soutra Sat 08-Feb-14 21:29:49

sad Scotland really need better direction. Sacking the captain "pour encourager les autres " didn't work for a start!

mrshat Sat 08-Feb-14 21:06:20

Delighted with Ireland's win today and last week - here's hoping their great form will continue throughout the championship! grin

Anniebach Sat 08-Feb-14 20:58:49

I missed the second half of the Scotland match - power cut. So sorry Scotland x

Agus Sat 08-Feb-14 20:18:43

sad for Scotland and Wales. Well done, Ireland and England..well deserved.

JessM Sat 08-Feb-14 20:04:02

Yes confirmed my prediction that Ireland will win the championship.

annodomini Sat 08-Feb-14 18:00:04

Poor Murrayfield. It used to be a most beautiful pitch. I don't think we can blame the worms for Scotland's performance though.

Anniebach Sat 08-Feb-14 17:50:00

Come on Scotland, get moving boys
