Starts tomorrow, six weeks of stress and panic. Have my rugby shirt ready and remembered to bring David the Daffodil with me

Anniebach Sat 04-Feb-17 15:52:44

First match and I am already screaming st the TVs.

Rosesarered, David the daffodil has a three foot little face grin

What a fight back from Ireland , phew

Teetime Sat 04-Feb-17 15:55:08

Anniebach Sat 04-Feb-17 16:16:21

Bad luck Ireland , you played so well

Congratulations Scotland, great game

Alima Sat 04-Feb-17 16:16:45

A 3 ft little face! OMG it's a triffid ab grin

rosesarered Sat 04-Feb-17 16:29:03

Riverwalk Sat 04-Feb-17 16:51:08

ginny Sat 04-Feb-17 17:07:37

I have plenty of books to read as far away from the TV as possible and hoping for good weather so I can leave the house for a nice peaceful walk. Hope you all enjoy it but not my thing

Anniebach Sat 04-Feb-17 17:12:42

Come on England ,

Cherrytree59 Sat 04-Feb-17 17:46:03

Well done lads !!!
You kicked off the championship great.
I have a grin from ear to ear

Ireland have always been a hard team to beat.

Now Come on England! my second team!

ninathenana Sat 04-Feb-17 18:04:45

? we need a try sad

annodomini Sat 04-Feb-17 18:32:34

England now in the lead; not much to choose between them and France and it's not nearly as entertaining a match as the Scotland/Ireland one.

MawBroon Sat 04-Feb-17 19:01:12

Uninspiring match, but good result. Some good goal kicking from Farrell and Daley smile

Anniebach Sat 04-Feb-17 19:12:50

Congratulations England

rosesarered Sat 04-Feb-17 21:53:20

DH in good mood now, but says England didn't play well ( I was otherwise engaged so didn't see it.)Got through anyway.

Cherrytree59 Sat 04-Feb-17 22:13:30

Well done England
As others have said pretty a uninspiring match
But its the win that counts.

Anniebach Sat 04-Feb-17 23:24:23

England are bookies favourite for the win this year

MawBroon Sat 04-Feb-17 23:47:42

After today's performance the odds might just be lengthening hmm

Teetime Sun 05-Feb-17 09:32:15

Is it only me that thinks French rugby players are sexier than English and all the others??? Sorry rugby fans I only watch snatches of it to see the legs. Preferably a bit muddy!! grin

Cherrytree59 Sun 05-Feb-17 19:06:53

Well done Wales.
Quite a big score.
I know that Italy are usually the underdogs but they did have surprise win over South Africa not so long a go.

Teetime I think some of the Scots lads could give French players a run for their money. IMHO of course
grin

rosesarered Sun 05-Feb-17 19:16:04

Yes, well done Wales ( didn't see it, we had wall to wall grandchildren all day long)
I bet that David the daffodil got waved about a lot ab grin

Anniebach Sun 05-Feb-17 21:19:33

David got a little squashed yet again rosesarered, but I assure you he is a happy little daffodil . Slight panic at the start but then all was well. smile

Cherrytree59 Sun 05-Feb-17 21:23:56

And a bonus point ab smile

Anniebach Sun 05-Feb-17 21:52:33
