Six Nations

I was brought up by a rugby-mad father. Before TV reached Scotland we would listen to it on the wireless. As students we would take the train to Edinburgh and join the thousands of fans walking through the West End to the Holy of Holies - Murrayfield! The tiny TV screen of the 1950s has grown and grown and now I am able to watch it in HD on a decent sized screen. I am settling down for an afternoon in front of it. Good luck Scotland. ??????

How about a pizza anytime ( to eat while watching all the rugby) my DH would be up for that.

When I met H I didn't have a clue about rugby. After spending Saturdays standing on the touchline watching him play I thought I'd better find out about the game. I actuaĺly read the rule book, which H confesses he has never done.

DH is getting ready - its his favourite time of the year. I've probably told you this but when we met he hadn't had much experience of girls just of rugby (despite having already been married once but that's another story) and his opening move was to rugby tackle me to the floor knocking the wind out of me. He thought it was romantic!

I don't mind them bring a rooster as long as they leave the drums at home.
I love the singing though.

At one time it wasn't unusual for some French spectators to smuggle a rooster into the stadium. I don't think they would get away with it now.?

I'm a lone Scot among England Supporters.
Have bought my young grandsons their England shirts and a soft rugby ball
My Oldest GS is now three so will hopefully have a little bit of interest in the matches.
All good camaraderie but I will still be shouting for my Scottish lads.
I also love all the national anthems.

No leek, already have David and Dylan the dragon . Scotland and England , stressed already
