There is a cycling thread o the health pages but it is about more than health. There are tips to be had and experiences to share

I went on my first car-enabled cycle ride this morning and wow, it was gorgeous. I find I am liking slopes as long as they aren`t over-steep. The saddle is moulding fine and no longer hurts and I am now confident enough to signal. I am going to keep my dumbells handy in my lounge because I need to hold the weight of the bike forward from my body when loading into the car

It was awesome today, the loading practises were very worth while, I reached a happy point today when I put the cycle in backwards at an angle, so the back wheel helped the cycle to move further into the boot. I just tiled the handlebars up and secured with small bungee. So much enjoyment that I am going to leave the back seats down as I can see me going at least every week

just to say that I put it in with gears on top and the luggage rack kept the rotor (disc brake) away from the boot floor. The front wheel was above the front mudguard and there was no pressure on the wheel, it was held above by the mudguard spokes. The wheel is so light that it did not deform the mudguard in any way
