Well that’s Ostapenko gone. I’d like Medvedev to win - another quirky character but it could be a tough match against Alcaraz and whoever wins will have a fresh, rested Djokovic waiting 😟

I was sorry to hear about De Minaur too. I really hope Alcaraz wins but he’s had a fight on his hands the last couple of matches.

I disagree with John McEnroe re Djokovic. That opinion is rubbish. If it was down to him being a good player then we wouldn’t like Alcaraz, Nadal et al.

I love Ostapenko and would really like her to win. She’s different and quirky. Can either be brilliant or dreadful. I hope she’s on form today.

Yes, really sorry to hear that, partly because it gives Djokovic a bye. John McEnroe thinks the crowd is against Djokovic because he’s such a good player?! I just like every other player on the tour better! 🤣

Unfortunately, I tip Djokovic to take the title again. Maybe against Alcaraz. Really dislike the Serb and I would like to see the latter win, but I don’t think his form has been consistent enough. I hope I’m proved wrong.

I’m having a day off tennis today. Watched so much of it last week. Even though DH does not like football at all he will be watching the Euros tonight when England play.

The match today with Alkarez and Paul was one of the best matches I've ever seen. I have no idea how they are able to play such ferocious shots for so long.

For me something is missing in the Men’s Tennis at Wimbledon this year.
It’s not all that exciting - does anyone else feel the same?
Saying that I enjoyed the two matches yesterday Fils v De Minaur and Zverev v Fritz.
