What on earth to wear to wedding?

I was stuck with shopping with him Nanado so it seemed easiest to get him interested. The animal print and amber sounds lovely! Actually my son used to be the same, I once bought a wonderful floorlength green coat at his behest.

I have been to very few weddings. Years pass normally all wedding free. We have been invited to 2 this year. Consecutive weekends in July! Just when i had decided I had enough clothes and should not buy any more.
Just to add to above suggestions - if you are quite talk pashminas might be worth considering. or one at any rate. Can add dash to an outfit and keep you warm if day is chilly. I had a lovely new one from East for xmas

I've just noticed how old this thread is, odd that it's been resurrected. It did occur to me that the suggestions given as to advice for an outfit for a wedding, would probably be the same today, six years on. Does that mean once we reach a certain age, we are no longer slaves to the ever changing face of fashion? Quite liberating imo
