Boots or shoes?

About the only thing that makes winter bearable is that I can wear boots - I love them! Knee boots, casual ankle boots, mid-calf boots, smart ankle boots with heels, comfy dog-walking boots, even Wellie boots! The only ones I don't like (probably sour grapes ) are Uggs - or Ugg-alikes.
I have loved knee boots since my teens - do you remember The Avengers and kinky boots? I thought them the epitome of elegance.
Why do I love boots? I can wear oddsocks or pop socks or tights, boots support my legs and disguise the fact that they are not sylph-like.
Then March comes and suddenly I remember that I have legs and look out some shoes again and feel about half a stone lighter!

Boots or shoes for you?

Boots! Ecco boots, plus a pair of HushPuppies, and some black suede ones for evenings, until it's time for sandals. Crocs in the house.

Mercedes I should think that you can wear <any> sort of shoe or boot, because you are young! So enjoy beautiful shoes. smile

I love my boots, not long bought a pair of lilac boots from LEnd and love them I have had my leather black uggs for a long time and wear them most days,a pair of ankle boots with heel not to high for going out and a pink pair of slouchy soft boots which double as slippers which are covered in sparkly bits.

Isn't it funny how you always end up coming back to the old favourites? I can't bear to throw out boots or shoes. Always think they just might come back into fashion one day. hmm

Somtimes it breaks my heart to think of the boots and shoes I threw out in the days when I could afford to just buy new for the hell of it. Some of them would still be fashionable and comfortable too. sad
