A recent article suggested that a Brazilian or Hollywood is the norm. Is this true for older ladies? Has this been discussed before?

Once walked in on a colleague who was standing legs akimbo across the little bin in the 'side' office trimming her bits. She didn't blink an eye just said 'It's like an f......g billy goat.' She was a bit rough around the edges but why wasn't I surprised.

She eventually left her husband with their life's savings and ran off with a murderer. She was writing to him in prison. She confided in me that she was going to run away. I asked what he was in prison for she replied 'He murdered his wife', 'Isn't that a bit risky?' I said " 'e's only done it once' was the reply.

Just realised that the previous post to mine was 3 july. Why then was it on Active Posts. confused

shame wink

gillybob Thu 12-Dec-13 13:34:24

Flowerofthewest She sounds lovely. shock

Soutra Thu 12-Dec-13 17:43:41

I have read through this thread and I am sure it is all meant inocently, but clearly being a prude, I am finding it all TMI. It is like asking Do you trim your nose hair? Do you fold your loopaper of bunch it up?
Frankly I could not be less interested in other people's personal habits and wouldnt dream of inflicting my own on anybody else tchshock

Riverwalk Thu 12-Dec-13 18:03:55

Soutra you say

"Frankly I could not be less interested in other people's personal habits ....."

but you "read through this thread".

So you were interested tchgrin

Ana Thu 12-Dec-13 18:07:38

Quite! tchgrin

MiceElf Thu 12-Dec-13 18:25:34

I expect Soutra was like me. I had no idea what 'lady garden' meant. I thought it was probably a wild flower bed or a bower of sweet smelling plants.

Now I know, I wish I didn't.

Ana Thu 12-Dec-13 18:46:33

Well, it wouldn't take you the whole 180-odd posts to work that out, surely? Plus, it isn't in the 'gardening' section...tchwink

Bellasnana Thu 12-Dec-13 18:50:39

Lol! Well, it was a lot less upsetting than the 'vaginal knitting' - now that really was TMI tchblush

Soutra Thu 12-Dec-13 18:51:59

Perhaps it would be more accurate to say I skimmed much of it as I felt it would be unwarranted to criticise something merely on account of the OP.

Soutra Thu 12-Dec-13 18:53:19

And frankly No I wasn't and am not interested.

Nonu Thu 12-Dec-13 19:00:41

How quaint "Mice" .!tchsmile

MiceElf Thu 12-Dec-13 19:46:48

Nonu, I'd rather be quaint than vulgar.

Atqui Thu 12-Dec-13 19:55:08

Not ashamed to say I find it quite interesting.Oh dear perhaps I'm some kind of freak!!I often wonder what newly qualified doctors make of the older woman's untended allotment !

Nonu Thu 12-Dec-13 20:01:37

Micelf -- Right back at yer !!

Galen Thu 12-Dec-13 20:02:07

In my days as a Doctor, I'd have been more surprised by 'bare bits' and consulting my textbooks for endocrinological causation.

annodomini Thu 12-Dec-13 20:10:44

Mice and Soutra, I'm quaint too. tchgrin

Riverwalk Thu 12-Dec-13 20:11:35

Oh! Mice I don't think there's been anything vulgar on this thread ... just a bit of fun. smile

Atqui allotment grin

Ana Thu 12-Dec-13 20:15:53

I seem to remember you being quite eloquent on the 'vaginal knitting' thread, MiceElf! Was that not vulgar because it was presented as 'art'? tchhmm

MiceElf Thu 12-Dec-13 20:27:39

That, Ana, was art criticism. If you read it carefully, you will appreciate why. The subtext needed elucidation. Soutra's distaste is perfectly clear and needed no comment.

Riverwalk, it's not the thread that's vulgar.....

MiceElf Thu 12-Dec-13 20:29:02

Oh, and Nonu, my name is MiceElf. It's not hard.

Ana Thu 12-Dec-13 20:36:33

Yes, I know what it was supposed to be, MiceElf.
